Under Control is a song about rumours and feeling like all your dirty laundry is out in the open. How can one overcome that nagging feeling of being misunderstood? It seems like all you can really do is relax and try not to sweat the small stuff.

We hope that the song can serve as a sort of “reset” button. We want our music to feel light; we don’t think music has to feel heavy to be introspective or to convey a deeper message - there’s already so much weighing down on us all every day. In life, there’s no clean slate, no way to disregard our past or rumours, whether they be true or false. But what we can do is take a deep breath, speak our truth, and get on with it.
